It is on the walls of buildings; it paints towns, and surfaces on trains; graffiti is one form of art that has been around for thousands of years. To some, it is a form of art that should be displayed in galleries and exhibitions and to others its merely vandalism. However, Graffiti could be catagorized in both catagories. its an art when its is spray painted on public buildings for everyone to admire and enjoy. on the alternative, its considered a vandalism when painted on private homes without premission of the property owner. it could lower a property balue and it could be very expensive to clean up, if a graffiti arist gets caugh vandalizing a propery he could get arrested and is expected to pay a fyne to get the surface cleaned. inexpert bypasser might look at spray painted wall and might look at spray painted surface and might identifiey it as just "graffiti." there are many types of graffiti art: one example is wild sytle graffiti is a name given to graffiti done with aerosol spray paint that is abstract or hard to read. It is a style of graffiti that is wild , basically. Graffiti is about the letter forms, transforming each letter and the word to make it flow a certain style.

ReplyDeleteLove it! I usually don't see vandalism as a form of art, more as vandalism. After reading this post, i see how the graffiti itself can turn into art, rather than vandalism.
ReplyDeleteNetsanet I like that your interested in art graffiti. Most people don't usually know that Graffiti is a form of art when applied legally. I didn't know that their were different types of graffiti. Its very interesting that they're displayed in galleries and exhibitions I've always just imagined graffiti on the side of a wall. For future blogging I would recommend proofreading but other than that I thought it was interesting to read and i learned a lot.
